50 thousand illegal cigarettes have been seized in Co Tipperary.
The haul, which has a retail value of around 21 thousand euro was discovered in two homes in Roscrea last night.
The cigarettes had a potential loss to the exchequer of 18 thousand euro.
A number of people have been questioned and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
