Revenue, with the help of detector dog Robbie, has seized drugs worth over €700,000 in Dublin.
They were discovered inside a consignment of cargo at the port labeled furniture and another group of parcels elsewhere in the capital.
During two separate operations yesterday, Revenue officers spotted 36 kilos of cannabis herb and a further 12 kilos of cannabis resin.
The first cargo consignment had arrived to Dublin Port from Spain, and contained 42 kilos of illegal drugs.
It was labeled furniture, and the drugs were detected during day-to-day operations at the Port.
The second, containing six further kilos of cannabis resin, was found by detector dog Robbie inside parcels elsewhere in the capital.
This operation also took place yesterday.
The total find is 48kilos between cannabis herb and resin and is worth an estimated €716,000.
