Coronavirus restrictions may not be lifted at all - or only eased slightly - from next week due to serious concerns at the high number of new cases being recorded.
701 new cases of Covid-19 were announced here last night along with an additional 26 deaths.
Meanwhile, the number of cases of coronavirus across the world has almost reached three million.
The death toll from Covid-19 is now 207,000.
There are now almost one million cases of Covid-19 in the US, where 55,000 people have died.
Over 1,300 people have died of the disease in the States in the past 24 hours.
The Health Minister says the strategy for easing the restrictions will be decided this week, but Simon Harris says he doesn't expect a "big bang" moment on May 5th:
