Record-high temperatures are being forecast in southern Europe this week.
There have already been major wildfires on the Spanish island of La Palma and it's feared there could be more.

In the coming days, parts of Italy and Greece could push the 48-point-8 degrees Celsius recorded in Sicily in August 2021.
That was the highest temperature ever recorded in Europe.

Tourists have been warned to stay hydrated and avoid caffeine and alcohol, which dehydrate the body.
People should seek shade during day time highs.
