The number of people attending this year's National Ploughing Championships has broken all records.
228,000 people visited the three day event in Ratheniska near Stradbally in Co Laois.
The figure represents a 43,000 increase on last year's attendance of 187,000.
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny (pictured above) was the guest of honour on the final day.
The National Ploughing Association has confirmed that next year's event will also take place in Ratheniska.
