Next year's National Ploughing Championships will take place in Co. Laois.
Ratheniska has been chosen to host the 90th edition of the event in 2021.
Organisers are planning on holding the ploughing over four days from September 15th to 18th.
The annual event usually attracts crowds of up to 300 thousand people.
The World Ploughing Contest will be held at the same time with international competitors and visitors from over 20 countries expected to attend.
The NPA Managing Director Anna May McHugh said "Given the year that everyone has experienced it is wonderful to announce some positive news and with hope we look forward to welcoming everyone to next year’s ‘Ploughing’ in County Laois."
