A police officer in Northern Ireland has been suspended from duty after being arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug.
The male officer was arrested in Belfast on Wednesday as part of an ongoing PSNI investigation.
He's been released on bail pending further enquiries.
It is understood the arrest is not linked to a separate investigation into the suspected drug deaths of eight people in Northern Ireland in recent weeks.
