Uniformed PSNI officers will take part in the Dublin Pride Parade for the first time this weekend.
They will march in the parade following an invite from Garda Commissioner Drew Harris.
We are absolutely delighted to announce that the proposed route for the 2019 #DublinPride Parade and March will see us return to the very heart of our city! 🌈🌈🌈 The parade will assemble on Parnell Sq on Sat, June 29th and will end in Merrion Square with a free outdoor event. pic.twitter.com/igpuFjftuo

Saturday's parade will also mark the first time uniformed Gardai will take part in the parade.
The PSNI's Deputy Chief Constable Stephen Martin says it's and opportunity to build upon their relationship with the LGBTQ community.
