New measures will see pitch invaders at Premier League and English Football League matches receive an automatic club ban.
Action's been taken following a rise in anti-social behaviour towards the end of last season.
Chief executive of the Professional Footballers Association, Maheta Molango told Sky Sports News, players were key to the changes.
"The pitch is the work place of the players."
"The players were angry, they were afraid of being assaulted at the workplace."
The CEO says the players asked for action to be taken, which was followed through by the clubs.
