A post mortem is due to be carried out later on the body of a three-month-old baby girl who died after a dog attack in Co. Waterford.
The dog entered the room of baby Mia O'Connell who was born in February and attacked her.
It happened in the village of Clashmore at around 2 O'Clock yesterday morning.
A technical examination took place at the scene.
Emergency services attended the scene and brought baby Mia to Cork University Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
