The world's richest person Elon Musk has sealed a deal to buy Twitter for more than $44 billion.
The Tesla and SpaceX billionaire is promising to upgrade the social media platform with new features.
He's spoken previously about introducing an edit button, so users could amend a tweet after it's been published.

He's also committed to being more lenient when it comes to policing users' speech and introducing a premium Twitter service, that would be paid for with cryptocurrency.
Shareholders will now be asked to approve the deal, meaning Twitter is now on course to be taken private.
The social media giant currently employs 500 people at its Dublin offices.
