Oscar Pistorius's lawyer has faced some tough questioning during an appeal against his conviction for manslaughter.
The case was adjourned this morning, for the Judge to consider whether the athlete should be convicted of murder instead, over the shooting of this girlfriend last year.
Prosecutors claim that Oscar Pistorius should be convicted of murder and sent back to jail for shooting his girlfriend - challenging a previous court's decision to sentence him for the lesser offence of manslaughter.
He's currently under house arrest after serving less than a year in prison for killing his girlfriend.
In his opening remarks, state prosecutor Gerry Nel explained there are two major obstacles:
Oscar Pistorius's defence lawyer, Barry Roux, had this to say in response.
Pistorius claimed he'd mistaken his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp for an intruder when he shot her dead on Valentine's Day last year.
It's being claimed that the original trial judge misinterpreted the law.
Legal expert Llewelyn Curlewis says the prosecution may be on top - judging from the tough questions to Pistorius' lawyer this morning.
Judgement was reserved this morning, and a final decision is due in the coming weeks - likely by the end of the month.
