Pictures of missing people, including Trevor Deeley, are to appear on Deliveroo backpacks in Dublin and Cork during the month of December.
The food delivery service has announced the 'Bring Them Home' campaign to mark National Missing Persons Day.
100 Deliveroo riders will carry backpacks across Dublin and Cork carrying the images and details of missing people during the month of December.
The partnership will initially feature images of four missing people on Deliveroo riders’ food bags to raise awareness of these cases; Trevor Deely, last seen on Baggot Street in Dublin; Gerard Taylor, last seen in Sandyford in Dublin; Barry Coughlan last seen in Crosshaven, Cork; and Mark Smyth, last seen in Ardee, Louth are still missing and will feature in the campaign.
Deliveroo will also make a contribution of €10,000 to the National Missing Persons Helpline and will enable customers to donate on the app.
A similar campaign in the UK has helped to find four missing people.
