People will be allowed to travel anywhere within their county under a further easing of lockdown measures from Monday.
Travel into another county will also be allowed if it's within 20 kilometers of your home.
All restrictions on movement are to be lifted by the end of June.
Today the government has announced a significant speeding up of the lockdown restrictions with the plan reduced from five phases to four.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar insisted "Summer is not lost and this can be a summer of hope if we keep the virus at bay."
As part of this, hotels, restaurants, hostels, caravan parks, galleries and museums will be allowed to reopen from the 29th of June.
Looking to next week, all retail shops are allowed to welcome customers into stores from Monday.
The following Monday on June 15th shopping centres can re-open, but they will be required to close off communal areas and remove seating.
Business Minister Heather Humphreys says "A trip to the shopping centre will not be a day out or somewhere to hang out with your friends. You will need to queue, go to the shop you want, and leave".
Playgrounds and outdoor summer camps can re-open next week - while groups of up to 6 people can meet indoors or outdoors with social distancing.
Up to 25 people will be allowed to attend the funeral of a loved one from Monday.
Over 70s can also have a small number of visitors in their homes.
