A 19 year old male pedestrian has died after he was struck by a car in county Louth yesterday evening.
The incident happened around 5 miles north of Drogheda at approximately 8.30 yesterday evening.
The male driver of the vehicle - who was the sole occupant - was uninjured.
The man's body has been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital where a post mortem will take place.
Gardai have carried out a technical examination the scene and the road has since reopened.
