It was launched this afternoon after he and a number of others opted to quit the Socialist Party.
Paul Murphy is the group's only elected official and says he will stay within the Solidarity - People Before Profit banner in the Dáil.
Rise won’t be registering as a political party, but as a third party with SIPO. Paul Murphy will still be part of the Solidarity - PBP group in the Dáil. He says it’s not a party but a group that wants to build a broader left pic.twitter.com/hKSM1N50PC
