Almost 2.2 million passengers passed through Dublin Airport in August, an 8% increase on the same period last year.
The Dublin Airport Authority says passenger volumes to and from Europe went up by 6%, while traffic to UK destinations also increased by 6%.
Transatlantic traffic to North America was up 17% and domestic route traffic grew by 2%.
The DAA says almost 13.7 million passengers have travelled through Dublin so far this year.
