It could be the end of the line for the Oxegen music festival.

Festival promoters MCD have confirmed the Punchestown music event will not happen this year.

And they say it's no longer viable to stage the music fest in its current form.

The company says the cancellation of this year's festival is due to a lack of suitable headline acts.

They're also blaming financial demands from local agencies.
