More than 77,000 people have now been vaccinated against covid-19.
The figures were announced by the CEO of the HSE earlier this afternoon.
The Health Minister expects 700 thousand people to be vaccinated between now and the end of March.
Minister Donnelly says the government's projections also estimate that around 4 million could be vaccinated against the virus by the end of September.
Earlier, HSE CEO Paul Reid outlined the breakdown of who has been received a dose so far.
He said it breaks down to "69,378 front line health care worker vaccinations and 7,295 vaccinations in long term care facilities - residents and staff".
4,000 people have been trained to issue vaccines in anticipation of a further roll-out of the vaccination programme.
