More than 50,000 children's toys have been destroyed over safety standards.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission says the toys did not meet the EU and Irish safety regulations.
The seizures included teddy bears, toy guns, inflatables with small parts and battery-operated dogs.
Shoppers are being urged to check for the CE safety mark and to always buy from reputable suppliers.
Our Product Safety team recently destroyed over 51,000 unsafe or non-compliant toys before they could go on sale.
