Over 1,000 senior citizens are taking part in a protest outside the Dail against cuts in the budget.
Lobby groups say older people are concerned about the reduction in the over 70's medical card limit and the ending of the Bereavement Grant.
The group says its actively campaigning to seek Government to reverse the austerity decisions made in last weeks Budget.

Meanwhile the Tánaiste has ruled out a U-turn on cuts to medical cards for older people.
Eamon Gilmore says the Budget is now finished and individual parts can't be picked apart.
