An elderly man has died after two cars crashed in Kerry.
They collided at Finnegans Cross, Kilcummin at around 6:45 this morning.
An elderly man was taken to Kerry University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An elderly woman was taken to the same hospital and is in a critical condition.
Another woman suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash.
A Garda forensic team is currently at the scene.
The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
