Health officials have announced 403 new coronavirus cases but no new deaths.
It takes the national total to 243,911, while the death toll remains at 4,863.
This morning there were 183 COVID-19 patients in Irish hospitals, up two on yesterday.
Meanwhile, there were 50 in intensive care, up three from yesterday.
The five-day moving average now stands at 364.
Of the cases announced this evening, 174 were in Dublin, with 34 in Meath, 20 in Kildare, 18 in Mayo, 16 in Cork and the remaining 141 spread across 20 other counties.
The 14-day incidence in Ireland now stands at 115 cases per 100,000 people.
Donegal has the highest rate in the country at 204.2, with Kildare in second at 200.9.
There are eight other counties with rates between 100 and 200.
As of Saturday, a total of 1,204,063 doses of vaccine had been administered in Ireland.
Some 852,189 people had received their first dose and 351,874 people were fully vaccinated.
Of the 102,304 coronavirus tests carried out in the past week, 2.7% came back positive.
