This week's strike action by nurses has been called off.
The Executive Council of the INMO has decided to suspend the strikes, due to begin tomorrow, following a recommendation from the Labour Court.
Nurses will be briefed on the details, before being asked to voted on accepting the proposals.
In the meantime, we’d ask you to stay united and support your colleagues.
The only reliable source of information on these proposals is the INMO, so please pay attention to official communications. (3/3)— Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation (@INMO_IRL) February 11, 2019
40,000 nurses and midwives were due to stage three days of industrial action in their dispute over pay and working conditions.
It's not clear if the issue of pay has been addressed by the Labour Court.
Minister @paschald - This is an agreement that is consistent with the public service stability agreement.
