NPHET has recommended further restrictions on gatherings in people's homes.
However, no county will be moved up a full level of restrictions today.
Under NPHET recommendations, the restrictions on social gatherings in the home would be ramped up for the entire country.
That means that people will only be able to have a maximum of six people from one other household visit their home or garden.
It's in a bid to limit the amount of contacts people are having socially and to target community transmission.
These household visitor restrictions have already been in place for Donegal and Dublin, which are the only two counties under level three measures.
People in other counties have been allowed have six visitors from up to three other households - but that looks set to change after today's NPHET recommendation.
