It now costs an average of €1400 a month to rent a place in Ireland.
That's a rise of just over 5% in the last year, according to the latest figures from Daft.ie.
Here's a look at the national picture:
Dublin 4 is the most expensive area in the country, where tenants are paying an average of €2,500 each month.
The report says "Across Dublin as a whole, rents in late 2019 are on average 41.5% higher than the previous peak in late 2007."
Meanwhile, Co Leitrim is the cheapest area to rent, where renters pay around €616 a month.
Author of the report Ronan Lyons says, despite this increase, rental inflation is at it's lowest level in six years.
