The North's Justice Minister has condemned a bomb attack on Belfast city centre.
The suspected homemade device only partially exploded on Victoria street after masked men hijacked a car in Ardoyne area forcing the driver to carry the bomb into the city centre.
A number of homes were evacuated overnight but no one was injured in the incident.
David Ford says he is horrified by the attack in the busy run-up to Christmas - but is urging people not be put off shopping in Belfast:
Meanwhile, Police say the driver of the car which carried the bomb is lucky to be alive.
Police say the bomb was up to 60 kilos, and placed inside a barrel keg.
