The Deputy Chief Medical Officer says nothing about the development of a Covid-19 vaccine suggests shortcuts have been taken.
Dr Ronan Glynn says trust and transparency is the cornerstone of the Department of Health's approach to ensuring people get the injection when they are eligible.
It comes as less than one in every two people say they'd 'definitely' take a Covid-19 vaccine.
According to Department of Health research, the figure stands at 45%, but another 28% say they'd 'probably' take one.
The cabinet will discuss the vaccination process tomorrow, after receiving a report from a state task force on Friday.
