There will be no headline concert this New Year's eve in Dublin.
Organisers are planning a new format after last year's gig had to be cancelled at the last minute.
The focus this year will be on the countdown to 2023 and a fireworks display along the River Liffey.
A spike in Covid cases forced last year's celebrations which included a headline concert with Picture This to be cancelled the day before.
There were also to be afternoon shows at Dublin Castle and a street party near St Stephen's Green.
This year a family-friendly New Year’s Eve Matinée is planned with an earlier countdown at North Wall Quay from 4 pm, along with family entertainers and street performers.
Later on at North Wall Quay and Sir John Rogerson Quay, there will be fireworks set off from the River Liffey and a Midnight Moment to ring in the New Year.
