The value of homes which are number 13 are typically €4,700 cheaper than the average Irish property.
A Daft.ie study analysed almost 800-thousand properties listed for sale in Ireland between January 2006 and June 2019.
It found that superstition is alive and well in the property market, with many opting to avoid the unlucky number.
It also found there are 14 percent fewer property transactions on a Friday 13th than on regular Fridays.
The typical Friday sees 275 properties transacted but a Friday that falls on the 13th sees on average just 235 transactions.
