A Nigerian chef has broken the world record for the longest individual cooking marathon at 93 hours and 11 minutes.
Guinness World Records said 26-year-old Hilda Baci, undertook the challenge in Lagos last month, where she cooked over 100 pots of food during her four-day kitchen stint between the 11th and 15th of May.
She was allowed a 5-minute break every hour but was docked seven hours because she mistakenly took one break longer than permitted.
Hilda prepared for the event by creating a 35-item menu “as a guide” for every meal that she would make during the 'cookathon'.
After reviewing all the footage, we're delighted to announce that Hilda Baci is the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual) 💫
