NFL Game To Be Held In Croke Park
The NFL is to have its first ever game held in Ireland.
It will take place in Croke Park in the autumn, with the date to be confirmed later in the year.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been designated as the home team for the game, while their opponents are currently unknown.
Large-scale American football college games have been held in Lansdowne Road in recent years, while this will be the first time the NFL will have a game in Ireland.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are owned by the Rooney family which has roots to county Down.
