A new system of rapid Covid-19 testing for meat factory workers has been agreed.
That's according to the SIPTU trade union which says it's come to the agreement with industry representatives.

The union held a meeting with Meat Industry Ireland today to discuss outbreaks in factories.
Over 300 workers in four plants have tested positive in recent weeks.
SIPTU's Greg Ennis says it was a robust meeting:
"We did come to a progressive outcome to the meeting, which is that both MII and SIPTU will look to engage with the HSE with regard to a new testing protocol.
