Met Eireann has issued a new status orange freezing fog warning until midnight tonight.
It will impact Connacht, as well as Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Clare, Limerick and Tipperary.

It comes as a yellow low-temperature warning is in place until Friday.
It's thought there could be some let-off in the cold snap this weekend but, for now, it's staying bitterly cold.
The National Emergency Coordination Group met over the weekend and will continue to monitor the situation.
