Scotland Yard is believed to have been given new information claiming that Princess Diana was murdered.
She was killed along with Dodi Fayed and driver Henri Paul in a car crash in Paris in 1997.
The intelligence is thought to include the allegation that they were killed by a member of the British military forces.
Sky News claims the information has been handed over by the parents-in-law of a former soldier.
