A new 5 year multi-entry visa option has been announced for Chinese tourists and business people.
The scheme, which will be available from the 1st of July, aims to make it easier for them to travel between Ireland and China.
It marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Justice Minister Charlie Flanagan says it will hopefully encourage more Chinese people to come to Ireland.
Minister Flanagan says it will ease the burden on the application for visas.
