A new Dublin-wide campaign has just been launched to stop dog fouling, although there is criticism that the rules arenÂ’t being enforced with just 12 fines for dog fouling last year.
People are being urged to report any dog owners they see not cleaning up to a new hotline, and a doctor is warning that dog faeces can cause blindness in children if they come into contact with it.
