The change will come into force at midnight on Sunday for all passengers arriving by plane.

The rule was brought in as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and despite vaccination status a negative test was also needed before you were allowed on US soil
The White House says Joe Biden's work on vaccines and treatments was "critical" to the development.
