A status yellow snow-ice warning has been issued for the entire country for most of this week.
Met Eireann says the warning will become valid from tomorrow morning at 6am.
The national forecaster says it will remain valid until 6pm on Saturday.

Met Eireann says it will be very cold this week with scattered wintry showers - the worst of which could fall on Thursday.
The wintry showers are set to be most frequent across the southwest, west and north.
Temperatures could drop as low as -5 degrees this week.
Drivers are being warned to take care on the roads, as there will be widespread frost at night with icy stretches on untreated surfaces.
