A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after a Cork student was stabbed to death last week.
A murder investigation is ongoing into the incident.
Cameron Blair, 20, was attending a house party in the Bandon Road in Cork City last Thursday night when the stabbing happened.
After the serious assault, he was brought to Cork University Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Gardai later launched a murder investigation into the death of the second-year student in Cork Institute of Technology.
His funeral Mass will take place in Bandon on Sunday.
Today, gardai arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with the investigation.
He's being held in Togher Garda Station in Cork, where he can be held for up to 48 hours.
