A motorcyclist in his 20s has died in a road crash in Co. Westmeath.
It happened at around 2.20am on Wednesday morning in the Kilmartins Roundabout area of the Dublin Road in Athlone.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was travelling in the Kilmartins Roundabout area of Athlone between 2am and 2:30am on Wednesday morning, and has any video or dashcam footage, to make it available to Gardaí.
