The mother and child injured in an incident at Dublin Zoo are said to be recovering.
It's after a Brazilian tapir attacked a two year old girl during a supervised visit.
Dublin Zoo says the incident was isolated as tapirs are normally extremely calm and passive incident.
An investigation has been launched - and all supervised animal encounters have ceased for the time being.
The zoo says staff are 'deeply upset'.
Orlaith Doherty is a vet and animal behaviour expert - she says such attacks are rare - but are always a risk.
