Met Éireann has issued two new weather warnings as high winds continue across the country.
A Status Orange alert has been issued for Connacht and counties on the west coast, with gusts of up to 130 kilometres per hour and warnings of localised flooding.
Meanwhile a Yellow alert has been issued for Leinster and counties Cavan, Monaghan, Tipperary and Waterford with high winds and some flooding in coastal areas.
