Ukraine's president says Russia is trying to wipe his country "off the face of the earth" following explosions in Kyiv.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the latest attacks have resulted in deaths.
It's the first time in months that the capital city has been targeted.
Overnight shelling has destroyed more civilian buildings in the south-eastern city of Zaporizhzhia.
Blasts have also been reported in the cities of Lviv and Dnipro.
It comes after Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of 'terrorism' and blames the country for an explosion on a bridge linking Russia to Crimea.
The Kremlin claims Kyiv's security services carried out the blast over the Kerch Strait last Saturday.
