The final shape of the Budget is expected to be signed off on later today.
Ministers are meeting at Government Buildings in Dublin this evening to put their finishing touches to a package that will include an adjustment of 2.5 billion euro.
However there's still some dispute over the extent to which social welfare payments may be cut.
