A solicitor for Irish woman Michaella McCollum, who is accused of trying to smuggle cocaine, is in Peru to discuss the case with authorities.
Police have been investigating the claims of Michaella McCollum and Scottish woman Melissa Reid, and are understood to be preparing to hand over their files to the prosecutor's office.
