Met Eireann has issued a status yellow wind warning for the entire country.
The alert comes into effect at noon tomorrow and is set to last until midnight.
The national forecaster says winds will gust 90-110km/h, which will be strongest in coastal areas.

Meanwhile, 8 counties have been issued with a status yellow rainfall warning.
Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford are the affected counties.
Heavy rain will fall over the counties tomorrow from 4am until 7pm.
