Irish men will spend more than women on a Mother's Day gifts this year.
A new appliances delivered survey show 28% plan to spend between €40 and €60.
That's compared to just 26% of women.
It looks like we are a nation of Mammy's boys as almost a third of men call their mam at least once a day.
Just over a quarter of men still ask their mam to iron their shirts.
But which is the most generous county in Ireland?
Cork people came out on top in that regard.
About 1 in 3 people from the Rebel county plan to spend between €60 and €80 on a Mother’s Day gift this year.
Startling Stats
40% of people who responded to the survey said their Mammy knows everything about them.
Meanwhile, 70% admitted their mothers could get on their nerves from time to time.
The most common offenses include telling her friends about their personal lives and criticising their appearance.
