Conor McGregor has appeared in court in relation to an allegation that he punched a man in a Dublin pub last April.

The 31-year-old UFC star has been given three weeks to decide whether he's going to plead or fight the charge.

Conor McGregor arrived at the Criminal Courts of Justice in a blacked out BMW just before 10 o’clock this morning.

He was served with a summons to appear before Dublin District Court in relation to an alleged assault in the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh.

He's accused of punching a man in his 50s at about 2.30pm on April 6th.

The 31-year-old sat at the back of the courtroom and stood before Judge Marie Keane when his case was called.

His solicitor applied for an adjournment and the case was put back until Nov 1st when Mr. McGregor will be asked how he pleads.

The maximum penalty on conviction for this type of assault is 6 months in prison or a fine of just under €2,000.
