A man's body has been been found in a house in Cork.
The body of the man - who was in his 50s - was discovered in a house in Bandon Road in the city shortly after 11.30am.
The scene is currently being examined by members of the Divisional Scene of Crime Unit.
The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.
Enquiries are ongoing and the course of the investigation will be determined by the outcome of the post-mortem.
Gardaí say they're investigating all circumstances around the discovery.
